Dr Reena Raithatha graduated with Honours from the University of Manchester in 2010. As well as attaining a distinction in the final examinations, she was also awarded the Charles Preston Prize and medal, given to the most outstanding dentist to qualify that year.
She continued her training in London working as a senior house officer at Guys Hospital in Paediatric dentistry and Oral surgery. During this time she also completed her MJDF qualification at the Royal college of surgeons london. She gained further invaluable experience working as a Senior House Officer in Oral and Maxillofacial surgery at Queens Medical Centre in Nottingham.
In 2013 she carried out her specialist training in Orthodontics at Kings College Hospital. On completion, she graduated with a merit in her Masters of Science degree and was awarded a Membership in Orthodontics from the Royal college of Surgeons of Edinburgh.
Reena has also presented her Masters research at the British Orthodontic conference and subsequently published it in the International Journal of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. She is an active member of the British Orthodontic Society and is a certified practitioner in Invisalign and Lingual orthodontics.
Her kind and polite nature make her an excellent clinician, not only technically, but her extremely caring demeanour will put any nervous patient at ease.
Her interests outside of work include yoga and keeping fit. She also has a keen interest in cooking and travelling.
